Anxiety QuizAnxiety is a physiological and psychological state characterized by cognitive, somatic, emotional, and behavioural components. These components combine to create the painful feelings that are typically recognized as uneasiness, apprehension, or worry. Anxiety is a normal reaction to stress. It may help a person to deal with a difficult situation, for example at work or at school, by prompting one to cope with it. When anxiety becomes excessive, it may fall under the classification of an anxiety disorder.

This questionnaire should often be used in conjunction with the depression tool as they are very separate and distinct, but often co-existing phenomenon.

These questionnaires can be a very useful additional tool if at the end of an initial stage of care progress appears inadequate – this will help to identify emotional components to the problem/s. Often, just the identification of one or both of these issues will be enough to break the pattern and motivate the person to confront these issues, and, will greatly assist their program.
