STAYING CLEAN AND SOBER
Authors, Merlene and David Miller, addiction recovery experts, point out that addiction is largely a disease of the brain, and the biochemical imbalances associated with it create chronic abstinence-based symptoms, such as anxiety, confusion, severe cravings and depression that often lead to relapse. STAYING CLEAN AND SOBER focuses on what they consider to be the most effective treatment options for addiction.
Dozens of recipes that will encourage the proper production and balance of neurochemicals are also included, along with a comprehensive resources section that lists specific contacts to help on the path to sobriety.
