  • Practised full-time as a Chiropractor in Ocean Grove for eighteen years (1989 to 2007)

  • Practiced in, directed and managed the longest established and largest natural health care practice on the Bellarine Peninsula 1989 to 2007

  • In private practice in Geelong 2008 to 2022

  • Now living in Bangkok, Thailand.

  • Small Business Director continuously since 1989 and has employed, trained and lead numerous Chiropractic Assistants

  • Previously actively involved in leadership roles at the Ocean Grove Baptist Church; leading small study groups including Alpha and S.H.A.P.E., singing and leading in the worship team, and coordinating the church-wide “40 Days of Purpose” spiritual growth campaign

  • Nick was a top ten nationally ranked Triple Jumper in the 1980s competing at several Australian Championships, winning minor medals at open level in the Victorian Championships, an ACT Championships Gold Medal, was Australian Universities Champion and twice Australian Intercollegiate Champion. His PBs were 15.22m for TJ and 6.90m for LJ.

  • Was privileged for many years to be part of the John Boas training squad training alongside elite athletes like Gary Honey, David Culbert and a young Andrew Murphy. Growing as an elite athlete and person in this environment still shapes a lot of his current training and life philosophies.

  • Was the number one ranked Masters 45-59 year old Triple Jumper in Australia and was ranked in the top ten in the world for eight years and has won Gold Medals at Geelong, Victorian Country, Victorian, Australian, Pan Pacific and World Masters Games 45-50 years Men’s Triple Jump Champion, and Silver Medalist at the World Masters Championships.

  • Nick is a eleven times Australian Masters Championship Gold Medalist.

  • He is the Victorian Triple Jump Record holder from 45 to 59 and Australian Indoor and Outdoor Record holder for 50-54. Nick is also former  Victorian Record holder in the Men’s 50-54 Long Jump. Nick was the first Australian 50-54 man to Triple Jump 13m and first Victorian man to Long Jump 6m.

  • Nick is a Level 3 AA Horizontal Jumps Coach and Level 2 Advanced AA Sprints, Relays and Hurdles Coach and has coached numerous state champions, national medalists champions and a World Junior Championships qualifier.

  • Level 1 AA Long Jump and Triple Jump Official.

  • Had been coaching on average 15 hours per week for ten athletics seasons which included developing a highly successfully squad of talented young jumpers and also formerly for two years assisting Geelong College with their Athletic Training Program. Nick’s squad usually included about 35 athletes each season and he coached on average 11 months of the year.

  • 2012/13 season – His squad members jumped 32 PBs and won 25 Gold, 6 Silver and 4 Bronze Medals at Regional to National levels. 1 Victorian Gold Medal.

  • 2013/14 season – Squad jumped 112 PBs and won 36 Gold, 19 Silver and 6 Bronze Medals at Regional to National levels. 5 Victorian Gold Medals. 79% of squad did LJ PBs and 77% did TJ PBs. Squad member’s average LJ improvement = 34cm. Squad member’s average TJ improvement = 65cm

  • 2014/15 season – Squad jumped 176 PBs and won 57 Gold, 33 Silver and 30 Bronze Medals at Regional to National levels. 12 Victorian Gold Medals. 86% of squad did LJ PBs and 87% did TJ PBs. Squad member’s average LJ improvement = 41cm. Squad member’s average TJ improvement = 82cm

  • 2015/16 season – Squad jumped 85 PBs and won 37 Gold, 23 Silver and 14 Bronze Medals at Regional to National levels. 9 Victorian Gold Medals. 71% of squad did LJ PBs and 86% did TJ PBs. Squad member’s average LJ improvement = 24cm. Squad member’s average TJ improvement = 64cm

  • 2016/17 season – Squad jumped 116 PBs and won 15 Gold, 22 Silver and 26 Bronze Medals at Regional to National levels. 6 Victorian Gold Medals. 100% of squad did LJ PBs and 87% did TJ PBs. Squad member’s average LJ improvement = 35cm. Squad member’s average TJ improvement = 64cm

  • 2017/18 season – Squad jumped 85 PBs and won 26 Gold, 14 Silver and 11 Bronze Medals at Regional to National levels. 8 Victorian Gold Medals. 91% of squad did LJ PBs and 95% did TJ PBs. Squad member’s average LJ improvement = 25cm. Squad member’s average TJ improvement = 50cm

  • 2018/19 season – Squad jumped 136 PBs and won 31 Gold, 23 Silver and 18 Bronze Medals at Regional to National levels. 9 Victorian Gold Medals. 81% of squad did LJ PBs and 86% did TJ PBs. Squad member’s average LJ improvement = 27cm. Squad member’s average TJ improvement = 69cm

  • 2019/20 season – Squad jumped 112 PBs and won 34 Gold, 14 Silver and 16 Bronze Medals at Regional to National levels. 9 Victorian Gold Medals. 73% of squad did LJ PBs and 84% did TJ PBs. Squad member’s average LJ improvement = 19cm. Squad member’s average TJ improvement = 50cm

  • 2020/21 season – Squad jumped 119 PBs and won 29 Gold, 12 Silver and 18 Bronze Medals at Regional to National levels. 5 Victorian and 1 Australian Gold Medals. 1 World Junior Championship Qualifier. 79% of squad did LJ PBs and 86% did TJ PBs. Squad member’s average LJ improvement = 31cm. Squad member’s average TJ improvement = 64cm

  • 2021/22 season – Squad jumped 54 PBs and won 17 Gold, 8 Silver and 4 Bronze Medals at Regional to National levels. 6 Victorian Gold Medals. Squad member’s average LJ improvement = 22cm. Squad member’s average TJ improvement = 46cm

  • Was married to Gill for 25 years, with two children; Meg 25 and Noah 23. Now divorced.
